FAQs

Frequently asked questions

What are your visiting hours?

We only ask that you try and avoid mealtimes if that isn’t possible just let us know.

What is the household model of care?

Put simple our home is like your home. Staff are incorporated into the secure homely environment, there’s no uniform and no hierarchy below the management team – this benefits the team and our residents. It’s a community at Worthington and residents are encouraged to get involved in the day-to-day running of the home giving them a sense of purpose – but only if they choose to!

What are your activity provisions?

Unlike other homes in the group, we don’t have an Activity Coordinator, we see this as a benefit! It means all our staff are hands-on in delivering meaningful activities and building great relationships with our residents, it’s everyone’s responsibility.

How much independence do your residents have?

We treat Worthington like we would our home, residents can do as they please – we just encourage an active, engaging and healthy lifestyle.
